📚🎉 Get ready to celebrate Read Across America Week next week, March 3-7, in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday! 🎂🎈 Each day, students can dress up to match a different Dr. Seuss book: 🎨 Monday: My Many Colored Days – Wear your favorite color! 🎩 Tuesday: Cat in the Hat – Wear a hat! 🧦 Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday – Wear crazy socks! 😴 Thursday: The Sleep Book – Wear pajamas! 📖 Friday: Favorite Things – Dress like a Dr. Seuss character or wear a Seuss-themed shirt! Due to the timing of inclement weather forecasted tomorrow afternoon, Valley View Public Schools will dismiss two (2) hours early on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 with bus and car rider dismissal beginning at 1:00pm. All afterschool and evening activities, including the Excel afterschool program, are cancelled for Tuesday. It is our desire to provide this information on the district's planned early dismissal now so that our Valley View families can coordinate pickup and afterschool care accordingly. Thank you for your understanding as we seek to prioritize the safety of all our students, staff and Blazer families.
