💛Today in Kindergarten, we celebrated Thanksgiving with a big feast! Our little turkeys, pilgrims, and Native American tribes gathered around the “table” to enjoy a special meal together. It was such a fun and memorable time for everyone! 🦃🍂

Every year, Valley View comes together to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit organization that grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. This morning, our school saw the impact of our support for the Make-A-Wish Foundation as our very own Charlotte Rogers, a joyful First Grader, received her wish to visit Disney World with her family! 🏰🌟
With help from Make-A-Wish MidSouth, her family, and our school community, we celebrated Charlotte! We can’t wait to hear about your magical adventure! 🎉✨

Our amazing HOSA students brought health education to life for our 2nd graders with the BEST Health Fair! 🎉 Students rotated through engaging activities, learned important lessons on hygiene, and even explored a human body inflatable with interactive lessons at the brain, lungs, and digestive system. 🫁🍎 What a fantastic way to make learning fun and unforgettable! 👏

Here's what to know: ✅ Check-In Process for Registered Guests: If you've pre-registered or called ahead, please check in at the cafeteria doors with your ID and provide the name of the child you’ll be dining with. 🚪 For Guests Without a Sign-Up: If you haven't signed up but still want to attend, please arrive 15 minutes early. Come to the Elementary main office to sign in with your ID and your student’s name. You’ll receive a visitor pass, which you’ll need before heading back to the cafeteria entrance. 💛Let’s make this Thanksgiving Feast memorable! 💙Our Kindergarten students in Mrs. Jenny Rogers’ class had a blast celebrating Thanksgiving early with a fun turkey craft! Inspired by the book Balloons Over Broadway, which tells the story of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the kids made their own colorful turkey “floats” and learned about the history behind the famous parade. What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season! 🦃🎈

Today, our Valley View Elementary Safety Team took a trip to the Fire Station to learn more about keeping our school safe! 🚒✨ Each year, teachers choose one student to represent their class, helping us stay protected and secure.
