Students will NOT attend school. Valley View School District will be actively watching forecasts for any weather that may impact travel and road conditions. The safety of our students, staff, and families is a top priority when making these decisions. Parents will be notified of any school closures, early dismissals, or delays via text, email, the school website, the school app, and our social media outlets. Beginning this school year, Arkansas school districts can no longer use Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Days for inclement weather. Any school closures will be made up through designated make up days listed in the district calendar. The make up days are May 28-31 and June 3. From Blazer grads to Blazer teachers, we are thankful to have our hometown educators like Mrs. Holly Robertson! Holly is a 1993 graduate of Valley View High School. She has been teaching for 24 years and is currently the Intermediate Library/Media Specialist. Holly’s favorite memories of being a student at Valley View are playing basketball, especially for Coach Jack Moore, walking to the old quick shop for lunch, Mr. Miller’s math classes and the “old” gym which was located where the Fine Arts Center parking lot is now. #TeamBlazer #Blazergrads
