💙💛PreK Enrollment 2025-2026💛💙 PreK Enrollment for 2025-2026 opens on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10am. Applications are timestamped and parents will be notified of acceptance by February 15, 2025. The Valley View PreK program is designed for students that turn 4 on or before August 1, 2025 and that will attend Kindergarten the following year. We currently have a license for 100 students in our program, 70 private paid and 30 ABC spots. A yearly tuition is required for private paid spots. ABC spots are available at no cost for those families who qualify based on income. #BlazerPride

‼️Save the Date‼️ Kindergarten Student Screening Day is Wednesday, July 17. Screening Day allows students to complete a kindergarten readiness checklist, socialize with peers, and become familiar with the elementary building. Parents will drop off in front of the elementary. Students are divided into groups by LAST names: 🌟A-L: 8:00-9:30 🌟M-Z: 10:30-12:00 Students enrolled in Excel need to attend the first session. Parents may drop off at the front of the elementary at 8am or teachers may pick them up from Excel. For pick up, parents will park in the parking lot by Ruritan Park and follow the sidewalk in front of the elementary to the cafeteria. Pick up procedures should take 20 minutes to recap the morning. Make sure your student is watching for a special delivery in the mail the second week of July! (Name tags will be mailed for students to wear on the Kindergarten Screening Day). If you need to register your child for kindergarten, please contact the elementary office. 🎉📚 Yesterday, all Valley View certified teachers attended an enlightening training entitled "Being Linguistically Responsive," presented by Mrs. Courtney Bogle. 🌟 Mrs. Bogle is an ESL Specialist with the Springdale School District and has over 15 years of experience supporting English Language Learners and teachers.
